Cloud Recording

By default your students' audio and video is recorded into the PoodLL Red5 server hosted by Amazon EC2 in Tokyo. Moodle then immediately copies the recorded file over into its data directory.

Open Source

PoodLL is open source and you can use it for free. The source code is either available to download on this site, or from our google cod repository. If you can't find something, just contact us.

HTML5

Many of our widgets are available in HTML5, including the stopwatch and flashcards. This means they will show nicely on iPads, iPhones and Android devices. We are committed to HTML5.

Open Laszlo – Red5 – Moodle

PoodLL stands on the shoulders of giants. The widgets are written in Open Laszlo, the recording application is based on Red5, and the context it runs in is Moodle.
