August Surprise: New Features and Updates

I just uploaded a new version of PoodLL for Moodle 2.3. It contains some nifty new features I have been working on.

• There is a new widget repository.
  So now you can select stopwatches etc from the file picker
• There are audio player options in the file picker after you have recorded.
• The splash screen for a recorded video, shows the first frame of the video.

The JW Player with the security problem has been removed from the release, but you will still need to delete it manually if you already had it.

I kind of rushed this release out, because of that JW Player problem, and some of the feaures I wanted to include did not make it. Basically those features are a new standlone MP3 recorder, and a whiteboard that can be used in the recording question type and in the PoodLL Online assignment. They will be in the next release, in about 2 weeks. And I will  get some documentation up about the new features in the next few days.
