I spent some time over the last few weeks putting Moodle 2.5 through it’s paces. It is undoubtedly the best Moodle yet. It has WordPress like auto install of plugins, badges integration and better theme support.
So it was important that PoodLL works well on it, and it does. Actually even without updates PoodLL runs fine, but I took the opportunity to tweak how some mods work, fix some little bugs that had crept in(notably in the repository) and release a completely new PoodLL mod, PoodLL Feedback for the Moodle Assignment. So it is also the best PoodLL yet.
As always you can get it from the downloads page here on PoodLL.com or via git. Of course if you are already on Moodle 2.5 you now have the option of fetching the plugins and installing entirely from within the Site Administration menu on your Moodle site.
I will be doing a webinar at the iMoot on PoodLL on Friday, May 24th. And I will be talking about my YouTube plugins (all three of them) on Thursday, May 23rd.
There is more PoodLL news to come, but I will save that for another post. Please let me know how you find the new Moodle and PoodLL.
