The Poodll Guy’s presentation times at the Denver Moot 2018 have been moved a little. So its now:
One of the new features in Moodle 3.5 was an audio/video recorder for the html editor. Since Moodle 1.9, Poodll has been the go to plugin for audio/video recording. But now Moodle users have a choice available to them. So which should they choose? In this presentation we will see how they line up against each other.
The Generico filter allows you to make custom widgets from within the Moodle admin settings. These widgets can then be placed almost anywhere in Moodle that you can edit. Generico widgets do not change Moodle core code and are a creative and free alternative to getting a plugin or theme developed. In many cases they can do what a new plugin could not. In this presentation the Poodll Guy will explain Generico briefly and several Generico based solutions for Moodle user issues will be showcased.
AI is coming to education and Moodle with huge promise. Poodll has combined its new Cloud Poodll API with Amazon’s AI features to produce a tool for evaluating student’s oral reading fluency. In this presentation we will see it in action.
