PoodLL’s Moodle 2.3 Assignment Type Released

Moodle 2.3 brought in a completely revamped assignment, but left the old assignments enabled as “2.2 assignments.” Until now we asked users to use our 2.2 assignment type. But from today you can use the new Moodle 2.3 Assignment type. Actually it is called a “submission type.”

We will shortly start including it in the “PoodLL All” releases we do every month or so. For now, you can download it from here.

You will need the PoodLL filter installed, as you do for all the PoodLL mods. So you should first download and install PoodLL Thrillseeker, ie the whole lot. If you’d rather install PoodLL minimally, just get the PoodLL filter from the Moodle Plugins database . Then new submission type should be installed separately into the [MOODLE ROOT]/mod/assign/submission folder.
